Who We Are

Established in 1989, Bay State Race Services provides professional finish line management, event timing, and results processing for hundreds of events throughout New England. Our event experience consists of road races, stair climbs, duathlons, triathlons, roller blades, and even canoes.

John has a Masters degree in Business Administration in addition to a BS in Marketing and is the primary contact for information and scheduling.  Since he has also managed several events, he is very familiar with all aspects of event management.  John is co-founder of the nationally-known Feaster Five Thanksgiving Day Road Race (Andover, MA) and also participates in events whenever possible.

Debbie has a BS in Computer Information Systems and deals primarily with the computer hardware, software, programming, and technology related issues.  We use specialized software, portable laptops, and laser printers and we also have computer networking and laser bar code scanning capabilities for larger events.

In 2000, we added the latest in timing technology to our services, the Winning Time transponder (reuseable chip) timing system.

In 2009, we are excited to once again bring the newest technology to our services and the sports timing industry with the addition of ChronoTrack System.
